Welcome to our website where you are going to find suppliers and manufacturers of all types of paintball guns.
When purchasing a paintball gun you will need the guns itself (which sometimes is called a marker) and a supply of
paintballs. A couple of other components you need to have are a paintball loader as well as propellant
canister.
Let's talk about the guns (markers) for a second. There are numerous choices one can make when choosing a
paintball gun. The different types include the pump, semi automatic, electronic, pistol and stock.
The Pump
The pump is the first and oldest type of paintball gun. Similar to a shotgun, the pump requires a pump action to
fire each round from the chamber. The serious paintball players tend to stay away from the pump because it is slow
on the field of play. In some games a split second is all you need to lose.
Semi Automatic
The next level up would be the semi automatic paintball gun. These are the most popular types of markers. This
has a much faster rate of fire than the pump gun as well as firing more pellets. The more pellets you use, as well
as the CO2 you use, will increase your costs on the field. Semi automatics also come with very sensitive triggers
so firing quickly is not an issue.
Electronic
These are the newer types of guns. They actually use computer chips and an LCD monitor to control the firing
modes. The trigger can be extremely sensitive. Some of these can shoot out 3 or more paintballs at a time. Using
this type of gun will cost you though. Be prepared for that.
Pistols
In the field, pistols would not be considered your primary weapon. They are more of a backup weapon. They have
limited range and round capability. They work with CO2 cartridges. You can expect about 10 shots from each
cartridge. As stated earlier, they are more of a backup weapon when you are forced to stop and reload your primary
marker (paintball gun). With that said, some games are limited to only pistols, so this would make the playing
field level and would be a lot of fun.
Stock
Stock guns also use CO2 cartridges giving you only 10 shots at a time. For the most part they are not that
powerful and if you're playing a game, it will be hard for you to win.
